Your Responsibilities
- You will automate the deployment, operation, and lifecycle of our platforms using Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. This is the core of your role.
- You will familiarize yourself with our platforms (VMware vSphere and Cloud Director, xcp-ng with Apache CloudStack, Citrix) and gradually take on responsibility for their operation and further development.
- You will integrate our systems via APIs, e.g., VMware Cloud Director, CloudStack, NetApp, and Veeam.
- You will work with the team to develop new products that can be deployed in a standardized and automated way, e.g., databases at the push of a button.
- You will help build out monitoring and documentation for the platforms.
- You will provide support for troubleshooting at the 3rd level.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) or a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in system administration, cloud, or a DevOps environment.
- Practical experience in automation, e.g., with Ansible, Git, and CI/CD.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python.
- Proficient in Linux and basic knowledge of Windows Server.
- Eagerness to learn new topics and a structured, independent way of working.
- German language skills at least at level C1, good English language skills.
