Job Description
Role Mission
Build, integrate, and sustain decision engine functionalities, ensuring technical quality, on-time deliveries, and continuous evolution of the production solution.
Qualifications
Hard skills
- Senior backend development in the stack language (Go, Java, Python, or Node), preferably Go.
- Integration via REST API with third-party systems: antifraud, PLD, and score engines
- Asynchronous processing and messaging (event queue, pub/sub) for actions that run after the decision
- Transactional data modeling, relational databases, and NoSQL
- Automated testing and CI/CD
- Familiarity with the AWS cloud environment
Soft skills
- Autonomy to execute without micromanagement. Reports progress quickly and directly.
- Identifies risks or gaps before delivery. Does not hide problems.
- Adapts quickly when priorities change.
- Collaborates well in a small, lean team (the team starts with 2 people and grows by phase).
- Objective communication in daily stand-ups and status updates. No long reports.
