Job Description

The SAP ICM team at AXA is responsible for commission calculation for our sales channels in the German market. We focus on continuous learning, innovative ideas, and a work culture that promotes personal responsibility, creative freedom, and team spirit. If you enjoy challenging SAP projects and want to work in a dynamic environment, you have come to the right place!

What awaits you

  1. You will take on technical responsibility from the start: You will develop and implement SAP FS-ICM-based software solutions for Incentive & Commission Management, from conception to go-live.
  1. Close collaboration with requirements engineers awaits you: Together, you will drive functional and technical concepts forward and support the entire development process.
  1. Technical quality is our focus: You will work with pair programming, code reviews, and clean code principles, and actively contribute to reducing technical debt.
  1. You will proactively further develop test automation – for more efficient functional, integration, and regression testing.
  1. AI integration is not just a buzzword for us, but a lived practice: You will bring AI-supported solutions into the commission environment, for example for automated data analysis, forecasting, or process optimization.

Minimum requirements

What you bring

  1. Education: You have a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, or a comparable field. Or an equivalent technical education with corresponding practical experience.
  1. Professional experience: You have already gained experience in software development, ideally with SAP technologies such as ABAP/ABAP-OO, SAP FS-ICM, SAP UI5/Fiori, or alternatively with Java, and bring a fundamental understanding of agile working methods such as Kanban or Scrum.
  1. Communication skills: You communicate clearly and in a target-group-oriented manner in German (C1-C2) and English.
  1. Team and collaboration skills: You enjoy working closely with others, contribute proactively, and understand that good software is created in a team.
  1. Willingness to learn and personal initiative: You are curious about new technologies (AI, Machine Learning, or data science in the SAP context) and actively acquire knowledge.
  1. Empathy and conflict resolution skills: You approach others openly, perceive different perspectives, and find constructive ways forward even in challenging situations.

What we offer you

  • Flexibility: up to 60% home office, flexible working hours from 6-21 including a flextime account, and the ability to work from abroad.
  • Time off: 30 days of vacation, extra days off on New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve, as well as special leave for special occasions.
  • Physical activity: Subsidized fitness offers, a company sports club, and corporate health management.
  • Retirement and benefits: Company pension scheme, capital-forming benefits, the opportunity to become an AXA shareholder, and discounted employee rates for insurance.
  • Financial advantages: Christmas bonus & vacation pay, profit sharing, and discounts on numerous well-known brands and technology.
  • Mobility: Job bike, subsidy for the job ticket, sufficient parking spaces, and direct public transport connections.
  • Team: Meet-ups, team events such as our own carnival party, after-work events, or the AXA Football Cup.
  • Development: Development programs, e-learning, coaching, and employee reviews as well as further training.
