Your Responsibilities
- AI Orchestration as a Core Competence: You think in agent pipelines instead of individual prompts. You control Claude Code (and comparable agentic frameworks) so that multiple agents work in parallel on features, refactorings, and tests, and you evaluate, curate, and correct their results specifically.
- Optimize Product Landscape Maximally: You identify where the existing codebase (Java-Backend, JavaScript-Frontend) can be made faster, more robust, and more maintainable through AI-assisted new development and further development, and you implement this independently.
- Architecture & Quality Control: You understand, validate, and securely integrate AI-generated code into existing architectures. You define the guardrails (tests, reviews, best practices) that make agent output reliable software.
- Technical Conception in the Core Team: Together with the core team, you develop new ideas and technologies for Backend and Frontend and integrate AI workflows into the entire development process.
- Performance & Scaling: You design and implement measures for quality assurance and performance optimization.
- Technical Sparring Partner: As last-level support and contact person for product managers and sales, you translate between business requirements and technical solutions.
Your Profile
- Several years of in-depth experience in software development with Java and possibly with JavaScript (or comparable languages). You know clean code because you've written it yourself for years.
- Routine, productive use of agentic AI tools in daily development, ideally Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable – not as an experiment, but as a primary work tool.
- Experience in prompt and context engineering for precise code generation, as well as in evaluating, hardening, and integrating AI-generated code.
- Completed studies in Computer Science (or Business Informatics) or comparable qualification (e.g., IT specialist with relevant experience).
- Very good German language skills, written and spoken (mandatory), and good English.
- Structured, self-reliant way of working and experience with agile methods (Scrum).
