We are looking for a Jr. Data Governance Analyst to join a data team and participate in governance, quality, and information management projects for a leading company in the health and quality of life sector in Mexico.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are taking their first steps in Data and want to gain real experience working with large volumes of information, databases, and Data Governance processes, within a large-scale organization.
You will work alongside Data teams and business areas, following established processes and learning how critical data for operations is managed, validated, and maintained.
We are especially looking for a detail-oriented, organized person with a desire to learn, who enjoys working with data and has the discipline to follow processes and ensure information quality.
💡 What will you do?
- Perform the homologation of products and branches, relating sell-out data with the corporate catalog.
- Validate information with Key Account Managers (KAMs) on a weekly basis.
- Maintain and update the branch catalog, collecting information for new entries.
- Validate the completeness, consistency, and uniqueness of data before incorporating it into the catalog.
- Execute additions and updates of branches directly in the database once validations are completed.
- Generate and maintain automated reports to track the homologation process.
- Document processes, criteria, and tools used in homologation operations.
- Participate in Data Quality and Data Governance activities.
- Identify inconsistencies or potential improvements in processes and propose alternatives.
🔎 What are we looking for?
- Advanced student or graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in data analysis.
- Knowledge of Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including queries and unique ID validation.
- Proficiency in Excel, including filters, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Experience or knowledge of Business Intelligence tools for report generation.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments and technical tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and rigor in process execution.
- Ability to follow procedures and validate your work before delivering results.
- Responsibility and autonomy to track your tasks without constant supervision.
- Good communication and ability to work with business and technology teams.
- Proactivity and orientation towards continuous improvement.

- Previous experience working with Data Quality.
- Knowledge of Data Governance or data cataloging and homologation processes.
- Experience working with large volumes of information.
