Job Description

You will develop group-wide standards as well as target and reference architectures for personal emergency signal systems (PNA) and DECT infrastructures. In doing so, you will consider, among other things, redundancy concepts, alerting chains, localization functions, and interfaces to alarm servers as well as light call, fire alarm, and hazard management systems.

You will support new construction, renovation, and rollout projects from an architectural perspective, evaluate radio coverage and site surveys, and define technical acceptance criteria.

You will develop operational, maintenance, and emergency concepts while taking into account relevant standards as well as requirements for information security and data protection. Furthermore, you will be responsible for lifecycle management—from inventory to migration—and establish suitable monitoring and reporting structures.

You will be responsible for the professional creation of technical specifications, define evaluation criteria, assess offers, and support technical acceptance. In addition, you will coordinate manufacturers, installers, and service partners professionally and take over technical escalation in the event of complex malfunctions.

You will coordinate technical solutions closely with the network, datacenter, and Microsoft-Backend departments, medical technology, building and facility management, as well as the clinics' safety officers.

Qualifications

You have completed a degree in telecommunications or electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable field, or possess a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.

You bring several years of practical experience in the planning, implementation, or operation of personal emergency signal systems (PNA) and DECT systems. Experience on the manufacturer or service provider side as well as on the operator side is welcome.

You have sound knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations for PNA as well as alerting architectures, interface protocols, and localization technologies.

You communicate confidently in German, both written and spoken (at least C1 level).

You possess a Class B driver's license.

Experience in safety-critical environments as well as knowledge of Ascom or Funktel solutions and in the areas of WLAN, VoIP/SIP, and alerting and hazard detection systems are an advantage.

Experience with public procurement procedures or regulatory requirements for IT in the healthcare sector is also desirable.
