Required qualifications
Education: Completed higher education in Engineering, Automation, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Knowledge in Operations and/or Maintenance in Mine and Plant Operations;
- Innovative, collaborative, and results-oriented profile;
- Clear, influential, and executive communication;
- Ability to handle multiple topics;
- Knowledge of business dynamics.
Curiosity, humility, and a thirst for continuous learning.
Desirable qualifications
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management, Technology, Automation, or related areas (railway, operation, mine);
- Knowledge in Technology and Automation;
- Experience with digital transformation projects or implementation of autonomous technologies;
- Knowledge in data analysis and BI tools.
Responsibilities and job activities
- Act as the focal point of service for Serra Sul operations, ensuring excellence in resolving incidents and requests;
- Facilitate communication between technical and operational areas, business and technology, promoting synergy and efficiency;
- Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and propose corrective and preventive actions;
- Collaborate with different business areas, promoting agile methodologies and a culture of innovation;
- Optimize processes and identify opportunities for simplification and value generation for operations;
- Handle technology and automation audits, dealing with different interfaces and seeking the best resolution of opportunities;
- Ensure compliance with Vale's safety, quality, and environmental standards.
