- Manage the project portfolio, including screening and validation of demands, prioritization, frequent reporting, as well as ensuring quality deliveries within agreed deadlines, aligning this portfolio with Vale's strategy.
- Develop, design, and lead conceptual, basic, and detailed projects that include operational technology engineering solutions, in compliance with strategic guidelines.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and evolution of the technological environments that support Vale's operations.
- Be responsible for the development and implementation of engineering projects related to technological infrastructure, ensuring quality, deadlines, safety, and budget.
- Ensure the strategic management of the technological asset lifecycle, promoting innovation, competitiveness, and operational sustainability.
- Contribute to defining the region's technological strategy, balancing short-term operational demands with business transformation and evolution initiatives.
- Promote a collaborative environment, active listening, positive influence, and strong results orientation, sustaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering; preferably Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering.
- Previous experience in activities proposed for the role.
- Consolidated experience in development, implementation, and management of engineering projects.
- Experience in operational environments and maintenance of technological or industrial assets.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and leading leaders.
- Knowledge of technological infrastructure, telecommunications, industrial and corporate networks, data centers, hosting, and connectivity.
- Ability to work in complex environments with multiple stakeholders, promoting alignment between Operations, Engineering, and Technology.
- Experience in project portfolio management, FEL 1, 2, and 3 planning, governance, budget, risks, and results.
- Availability for travel.
- Availability to reside in Parauapebas/PA or São Luís/MA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced or fluent English.
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management, Engineering, Technology, or related areas.
- Experience in technological infrastructure projects for large-scale industrial environments.
- Experience in global structures and multicultural environments.
- Established relationships and experience working in the Northern region will be considered a differential.
