Responsibilities
- Draft, structure, and standardize all technical and functional documentation for the Master Data Management (MDM) project.
- Prepare key deliverables for the analysis and design phase, such as the Functional Specification Document (FSD), Technical Specification Document (TSD), and Origin-Destination (O-D) Matrix.
- Document in detail the TO-BE architecture, the relational data model, and the cryptographic security design.
- Create operational manuals, maintenance manuals, and end-user guides, specifically for the Data Stewards console.
- Structure the Deployment Plan and the operational Runbook for the solution, including rollback procedures.
- Ensure all documents comply with the required official institutional formats and project standards.
- Work closely with the MDM Architect, Data Engineers, and the security team to accurately extract and capture technical knowledge.
Technical Requirements
- Solid and demonstrable experience in drafting technical documentation for data engineering, systems integration, or cloud architecture projects.
- General familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, including concepts of databases, microservices, and ingestion flows (Batch and Streaming).
- Knowledge in documenting interface contracts and APIs (such as the OpenAPI/Swagger standard).
- Ability to interpret and document data governance flows, data lineage, and data quality or survivorship rules.
- Skill in translating complex technical components (such as matching algorithms and data masking) into clear and easy-to-follow operational manuals.
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and technical synthesis skills.
- At least 3 years of experience working with:
- Projects related to Master Data Management, creation of Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse, and repositories optimized for analytics.
- Handling relational databases
- Code optimization for data integration
- Implementations in production environments of data solutions
- End-to-end data architecture design in GCP
**Work 100% remote, however, we require availability 1 day a week to work on-site with the client**
