What you will do here
- Lead initiatives for migrating legacy databases to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and AWS cloud environments.
- Mentor backend professionals in the development of agents and automated workflows for legacy system migration.
- Define technical standards and backend best practices, promoting alignment with organizational goals.
- Propose, document, and advocate for technical decisions (ADRs) and other System Docs with teams and stakeholders.
- Diagnose and resolve critical issues in CI/CD pipelines related to system migration and integration.
- Promote data flow automation using tools such as Springboot, Java, AWS, and messaging solutions.
What we expect you to know
- Advanced development with Java and Springboot in distributed environments.
- Data migration and integration between relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
- Microservices architecture using AWS.
- Planning, execution, and automation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Instrumentation and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and APM.
- Defining standards for versioning, deployment, and code review in collaborative environments.
What would be great if you knew
- Practical experience with AI code tools (Claude code, Copilot) in backend process automation.
- Deployment and optimization of messaging solutions (RabbitMQ).
- Technical leadership in cross-functional squads.
- Implementation of advanced monitoring and incident response strategies in cloud environments.
