In this position, you will act strategically within the context of a project in partnership with Itaú. Your central role will be to act as a technical reference to ensure the stability, security, and consistency of the cloud infrastructure and architecture. You will be responsible for aligning engineering solutions with business objectives, managing security, performance, and cost requirements in highly complex cloud environments.
What you will do here
- Design and approve end-to-end architectures, ensuring adherence to the 9 prioritized pillars of Itaú's Technology Map.
- Review and approve critical integration and governance decisions for APIs and events.
- Ensure technical consistency and normalization of standards among the different teams (squads) involved.
- Align technical solutions with business strategies, considering trade-offs in performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Analyze and mitigate technical risks, promoting best practices and organizational compliance.
- Produce and review architectural documentation in detail, including C4 models, ADRs, and infrastructure diagrams.
What we expect you to know
- Advanced mastery of the AWS ecosystem (Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora).
- Solid experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in complex environments using Terraform.
- Creation and automation of CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ECR.
- Implementation of monitoring and observability solutions with CloudWatch and DataDog.
- Modeling and documentation of APIs REST (OpenAPI) and event-driven architectures.
- Development and maintenance of detailed technical documentation (C4 diagrams, ADRs).
- In-depth knowledge of governance, security, and compliance practices in cloud environments.
What would be great for you to know
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and integration of generative AI applications into solution architecture.
- Development and operation of internal developer platforms (IDP/EDP).
- Implementation of multi-account and multi-region strategies in AWS.
- Automation and GitOps practices using ArgoCD/FluxCD for infrastructure and applications.
- Knowledge of large-scale Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
- Active participation in Cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives.
