Your Responsibilities

  1. Representing the security organization in internal and external committees while ensuring alignment with overarching security objectives Leading cross-functional projects in close coordination with the Security Officer with a focus on standardization, digitalization, and optimization of security processes
  1. Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on security key figures and security incidents to the Security Officer to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement
  1. Developing, maintaining, and updating comprehensive security concepts for all office and site areas, considering the requirements from NIS2 and KRITIS
  1. Continuously identifying vulnerabilities in physical security and defining, implementing, and monitoring appropriate protective measures
  1. Conducting regular audits at the sites to assess physical and digital security measures and to ensure effective compliance with existing processes
  1. Serving as the central point of contact for advisory support in all areas of physical security, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of security measures
  1. Performing all ISMS-related tasks within the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with information security standards
  1. Acting as the point of contact for information security inquiries within the assigned area, considering relevant aspects of physical security
  1. Preparing for and actively participating in internal audits and initiatives for continuous improvement to further develop security processes
  1. Evaluating and ensuring the conformity of security measures for IT systems and building technology, including access control systems, video surveillance, and alarm systems
  1. Supporting sites with emergency preparedness through planning, preparation, and execution of regular tests and drills to ensure operational readiness

Your Profile

  1. Completed university degree in Information Technology, Security Engineering, or a comparable field
  1. Relevant professional experience with a focus on security technology and risk management, e.g., in the areas of security services, physical security, loss prevention, investigations, supply chain, audit, or compliance
  1. At least 5 years of practical experience with security systems, especially access controls, video surveillance, alarm systems, and the management of security incidents
  1. Very good knowledge of ISO 27001 and practical experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
  1. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for energy providers and critical infrastructures
  1. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven experience in cross-departmental collaboration
  1. Strong team orientation and the ability to perform effectively in collaborative work environments
  1. Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken, for clear communication of security requirements and processes
  1. Valid driver's license class B and willingness to travel to company sites
  1. Certification as ISO 27001 Foundation or Practitioner is desirable
  1. Additional relevant security certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) are an advantage
  1. Training or certification in emergency or crisis management is a plus for supporting operational readiness and regular site tests
