About the Role
Join a small, high-impact team building AI-powered technology for state and local government. This broad, hands-on role partners closely with company leadership to shape strategy, strengthen operations, and help public agencies work more effectively.
What You'll Do
- Work with company leadership on strategic priorities, fundraising activities, and operational needs.
- Own initiatives that help the business run and scale efficiently.
- Collaborate with the founding team to shape company growth.
- Adopt modern AI tools, including Claude Code, to build efficient, AI-native workflows across the business.
- Support the development of technology solutions that improve public-sector operations.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience in product, operations, strategy, consulting, or another generalist role.
- Experience at an early-stage, venture-backed technology startup, ideally from seed through Series B.
- Enthusiasm for fast-moving startup environments and AI-enabled ways of working, including experience learning Claude Code.
- A bachelor's degree from a highly selective U.S. university.
- Interest in using technology to improve the public sector; government experience or public-sector consulting experience is valuable.
- Experience working outside large technology companies and in roles that did not require visa sponsorship.
- Comfort with a broad, hands-on role and a fast-paced work environment.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $130,000 to $220,000 USD annually.
Location
On-site, five days per week in New York, NY.
