IT Support / Helpdesk (m/f/d) – Career changers welcome
First-Level Support & On-Site Technology
Are you the person family and friends call when the Wi-Fi is down or the printer is acting up again? Then turn exactly that into your profession: with a permanent position, fixed hours, and a team that will train you. This position is explicitly aimed at career changers; university dropouts are also very welcome.
Don't worry: No one expects you to know everything from day one. Our colleagues from system integration and application development will train you step by step and are always available to provide advice. As your knowledge grows, so will your range of responsibilities.
Why join us
- No call center: You help colleagues you know and our clients. Everything under one roof, with short communication paths.
- Fixed hours: No shifts, no on-call duty in the evenings or on weekends.
- Every minute counts: We compensate overtime down to the minute.
- Direct line to development: You work door-to-door with the people who write our software themselves. Your feedback is incorporated directly.
- Your ideas count: In addition to the hotline and fixed appointments such as briefings or renovations, you largely organize your own tasks. If you wish, you can contribute your creativity and your own ideas at any time, for example, on how we can optimize processes.
- No degree required: What counts is curiosity, patience, and reliability.

Tasks & Responsibilities
On the hotline
- You take calls from colleagues as well as users of our online portals and process the requests in our ticket system
- You solve simple problems such as login, password, printer, or access issues directly. You document more complex cases cleanly and pass them on to our IT specialists
- You help clients with the operation of our software and portals and guide them step by step through the application
- You forward content-related questions, for example about figures or billing, to the responsible specialist department
On-site in the building
- You fix printer malfunctions, replace keyboards, mice, and headsets, and set up workstations, telephones, notebooks, and mobile devices, issue them, and take them back
- You lay, patch, and label network cables and document sockets and patch panels
- You maintain meeting rooms and conference technology and technically prepare video conferences
- You maintain the inventory, handle warranty cases with manufacturers, and support moves and smaller IT projects
Getting colleagues up to speed
- You instruct new colleagues of our sister company on their first day regarding their workstation, login, and telephone
- You write short manuals and FAQs so that typical problems do not even reach support in the future
- You keep an eye on ensuring that updates and security patches reach all workstations
Bridge to software development
- You are informed about innovations in our own software in advance so that you are well prepared in support. You reproduce reported errors and document them before they go to our developers
- If you notice from the requests of colleagues or clients that a process, a check, or our software should be improved, you pass on the hint, gladly with your own suggestion. Exactly such impulses from support are particularly important to us
Professional & personal requirements
- Genuine enthusiasm for IT, for example through tinkering with your own computer or home network in your private time. You do not need a formal IT education
- Confident handling of Windows as well as basic knowledge of network and printer technology. Initial experience with Windows Server, Linux or Microsoft 365 is a plus
- Enjoyment in helping colleagues long-term. For you, support is not a stopgap job, but exactly your thing
- Very good German language skills in word and writing (at least C1). You explain technology over the phone in an understandable and friendly manner
- Manual dexterity, for example when setting up monitors and workstations or when cabling network technology
- Reliability, discretion, and careful handling of confidential data
