Your Responsibilities
Do you want to do more than just manage a web shop? Do you want to advance it technically and professionally, with AI as an integral component? As a Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for our shop and the platform behind it, from requirements to release. You are the central interface between business, tech, design, and external partners.
- Ownership for Shop & Platform: You are responsible for the roadmap, priorities, and releases, making decisions based on customer value, business impact, and effort.
- AI-Shopping: You bring AI into the shop: guided selling, semantic search, and a smart home assistant that guides customers to the right product and system.
- In-depth Requirements: You translate requirements from operations, customer service, and marketing into clear user stories with acceptance criteria. You identify edge cases and dependencies before development begins.
- Platform & Integrations: You manage major platform topics and the integration of systems such as ERP, PIM, payment, and shipping.
- Partner Management: You lead external agencies and development partners with clear expectations, scopes of delivery, and deadlines.
- Quality: You are responsible for tests and approvals, ensuring only functional features go live.
- Conversion & UX: You optimize the funnel from search to checkout, data-driven with GA4 and A/B testing.
Your Profile
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical PM in transactional e-commerce
- Solid knowledge of Shopware or Shopify
- Experience with large platform projects such as a relaunch or extensive integrations, ideally from start to go-live
- Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and environments. You communicate with developers on an equal footing.
- AI-First Mindset: You have implemented AI features in a shop or products, or are highly motivated to do so. In your daily work, you naturally use AI for specs, analyses, tests, and prototypes.
- Structured, persistent in follow-ups, and clear in communication with business and tech teams
- German at a native level (C2), very good English (C1)
- You enjoy working in a team on-site in Berlin-Mitte
- Nice-to-have: Experience with products that require explanation (consumer electronics, smart home)
