Minimum requirements
- You bring well-founded, practical knowledge in public cloud (preferably Azure) and in the secure use of Terraform and Helm.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty is required for this position.
- Additionally, you have a good understanding of functional dependencies in distributed systems.
- You enjoy sharing knowledge and can imagine technically guiding apprentices and supporting their development.
- Due to close collaboration within the team and technical coordination, you possess very good German language skills (C1/C2) and good English language skills (from B2).
- Experience in operating containerized applications on Kubernetes and in using GitLab is advantageous.
- Ideally, you already have initial experience in the network area – if not, you have the opportunity to develop further in this area with us.
As a Platform Engineer (m/f/d), you are an important building block of our Platform Engineering initiative. You will support the team in automating, scaling, and stably operating the infrastructure of our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to provide our development teams with a first-class developer experience. Depending on your place of residence, you will either work twice a week together with your team at the Headquarter in Erkrath, or you will have the opportunity to work up to 100% remotely.

- You actively work on automating our cloud infrastructure using Terraform and OpenTofu.
- You will also assist in managing the cloud architecture and have the opportunity to contribute to the topic of cloud networking.
- You will participate in the implementation of governance structures and take part in on-call duty to ensure the stability and performance of our core services.
- Contributing to our observability stack and resolving issues at the infrastructure level are among your responsibilities.
- You will accompany and support upcoming migration projects to the cloud on a technical level.
