GTM Enablement
About Tako
Tako is the AI platform for people operations. We were born to solve one of Brazil's biggest problems: the bureaucracy that holds companies back and drains the time, money, and energy of those building businesses. It's a tough problem, and our bet is on an infrastructure that combines deterministic applications, like payroll and real-time calculation, with AI agents that do the work and tackle labor complexity head-on.
This lives today in two products on the same foundation:
- Tako Payroll & People Ops: handles the entire employee journey, from hiring to termination, with real-time calculation and automatic integration with eSocial.
- Tako Recruiter: interviews all candidates through conversation, connected to the ATS the company already uses.
On top of this, an intelligence layer: Otto, which keeps CLT, collective bargaining agreements, and jurisprudence alive within payroll, answering questions about cost, headcount, and turnover with the company's real data.
To date, over R$ 1 billion has been processed in payroll, with an NPS of +80, zero churn since launch, and payroll closing 70% faster. Tako was founded in late 2022 by Fernando Gadotti (DogHero) and Sebastián Mejía (Rappi), has offices in São Paulo and San Francisco, and has already raised over R$ 175 million from Ribbit Capital, a16z, and ONEVC. Solving this requires big tech talent with startup autonomy, and that's what we're building here: a fast-paced environment where everyone owns their work, from those starting their careers to seasoned professionals. We value diversity of opinions, stories, and experiences, because constructive exchange is essential for developing bold and relevant solutions.
Our team works in person at the Itaim Bibi office in São Paulo.
About the team
Tako's commercial team already has processes, playbooks, and a track record of closings. It's not an operation to be created from scratch: there's a running method and numbers to show.
At the same time, growth demands constant review, and what works today may need to be rethought tomorrow. The team works closely with Account Executives, pre-sales, and Marketing, and reports to the Head of Sales, with direct access to the founders in building the sales process.
About the position
Our commercial team is growing fast, and we're looking for Tako's first Sales Enablement person. You will design the onboarding and certification for the commercial team, build playbooks for each product line, reduce ramp-up time for AEs and SDRs, support ongoing deals, and get the commercial team to use AI in their daily work as naturally as our clients use our agents.
Enablement here is everyone's responsibility: your role is to orchestrate who has the knowledge (Product, Marketing, Agent Ops, and senior AEs themselves) and transform it into materials, training, and processes that the team truly uses. You will build the function, define its metrics, and advocate for why it matters.
Responsibilities
Team Ramp and Development
- Design and run end-to-end commercial onboarding, covering product, ICP, messaging, and process.
- Create the certification model per product: no one gets on a client call without proving they can defend the pitch, conduct a discovery, and handle tough objections.
- Reduce the time-to-first-deal for new AEs and SDRs, with a clear target and tracking by hiring cohort.
- Conduct continuous training in various formats (role-play, pitch session, recorded call review, written material, short video), calibrating the format to what helps each person learn and building a track for those already on board.
Playbooks, Content, and Messaging
- Maintain the sales playbook for each product line: pitch, discovery script, qualification, business case, objection handling, competitive battle cards, and account plans for strategic targets.
- Own the single source of truth for pitch, objections, and product positioning, archiving material as soon as it becomes outdated so the team can find the right answer in seconds.
- Measure how often each piece of material is accessed and deactivate what no one uses.
- Be the bridge between Product and Sales: transform each release into messaging, material, and training before the client asks.
- Together with Marketing, ensure there is material that the buyer themselves uses to educate themselves before and after the sales meeting: one-pagers, comparisons, business cases.
- Improve and standardize the artifacts the team sends externally: proposals, one-pagers, decks, and follow-ups.
Deal Support
- Join large or stalled deals: prepare the call, build the business case, and design the objection and stakeholder strategy.
- Maintain competitive intelligence: track why we lost, to whom, and with what argument, and pass this to the team in the form of a ready-made counter-argument for the next call.
- Based on data, demonstrate a feature or present a specific value proposition to increase closed-won deals and make this a standard practice for the team.
AI and Commercial Productivity
- Get the commercial team running on AI: account research, call preparation, post-meeting summaries, CRM updates, and proposal generation.
- Evaluate what already exists in the market, build and maintain the agents and skills the team uses daily, and train people to use them well.
- Measure actual adoption and cut what doesn't yield results.
- With GTMOps and Product, remove manual work from AEs and give them back time to talk to clients.
Diagnosis and Metrics
- Define and track enablement KPIs: ramp time, content usage, conversion by stage, process adherence, and tool adoption.
- Use aggregated activity data and call analysis to compare the team with top performers, identify knowledge gaps behind poor numbers, and address the root cause.
- Conduct continuous feedback with AEs and SDRs.
Prerequisites
- Preferably 5+ years in a B2B commercial environment, with practical experience in enablement, sales training, GTMOps, product marketing, or commercial leadership.
- Have carried a quota or worked very closely with someone who does.
- Have built a playbook, onboarding, or training track from scratch that you designed and implemented, with the comfort to operate autonomously in a role that doesn't yet exist.
- High-level communication and teaching skills, both written and spoken. A large part of the job is explaining complex things simply, to audiences with different levels of detail.
- Analytical profile: define metrics, look at the funnel, measure impact, and change course when the numbers aren't there.
- Fluent use of AI in your own work, with real-world experience. This is a prerequisite here, not a differentiator.
- CRM as the source of truth. We use HubSpot.
Preferred
- Experience selling or enabling AI and agent products.
- Experience building your own agents, skills, or automations.
- Call analysis and coaching tools, and a modern GTM stack.
- Advanced English, to keep up with the international expansion of global products.
