Summary Description
Responsible for administering and acting as a functional and operational reference for the Supplier Management (Supplier Registration), Guided Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Performance & Survey modules of the SAP Ariba platform, ensuring the efficient execution of supplier management, strategic sourcing, contract management, and performance evaluation processes. The goal is to ensure the availability and evolution of solutions, compliance with corporate processes, and data quality, supporting the Purchasing and other business areas in conducting strategic acquisition and supplier relationship processes. Acts transversally with the organization's global and local areas, being responsible for the functional governance of the modules under their management, user support, implementation of improvements, demand management, and alignment with technology teams and external partners, contributing to operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and value generation for the business.
Main Responsibilities and Challenges
- Ensure the availability, stability, and adequate use of the Supplier Management, Guided Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Performance & Survey modules through functional platform administration, process monitoring, and incident management.
- Guarantee the quality and integrity of supplier data by governing the processes of supplier registration, updating, and deactivation, in compliance with corporate policies and compliance requirements.
- Support the administration of sourcing processes on the Ariba platform, regarding configuration and support for bidding events, requests for proposal (RFP), and requests for quotation (RFQ), ensuring adherence to purchasing procedures and best practices.
- Support SCM OWNERS with contract lifecycle management by maintaining templates, clauses, approval workflows, and user support, contributing to risk mitigation and contractual compliance.
- Support SCM OWNERS in supplier research, evaluations, and performance indicators, ensuring the execution of Supplier Performance & Survey processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of supplier management by identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and simplification of operational workflows on the Ariba platform.
- Provide functional support to internal users by investigating and resolving issues, clarifying doubts, and promoting the correct use of tools and processes.
- Support the implementation of system improvements and configuration adjustments, working together with global teams, business areas, technology, and external partners to ensure the continuous evolution of the solution.
- Monitor process and tool performance indicators, analyzing deviations, proposing corrective actions, and tracking the results achieved.
- Ensure the compliance of processes under their responsibility, guaranteeing adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, audits, and internal controls related to supplier and purchasing management.
- Conduct training, process documentation, and knowledge sharing, promoting user empowerment and the adoption of best practices in platform usage.
- Act as a functional reference for the Ariba modules under their responsibility, providing technical guidance and specialized support to the areas involved in purchasing and supplier management processes.
Minimum requirements
Education
- Completed higher education in Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
Required Knowledge
- Advanced English level (will be tested)
- Current user of Ariba, in the registration, qualification, RFQ, contracts, and performance survey modules. Must have advanced knowledge, preferably at the system ADMIN level.
- Advanced knowledge of the SAP Ariba platform, especially of the modules: Supplier Management (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance); Guided Sourcing; Contracts; Supplier Performance & Surveys.
- Knowledge of Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Contract Management processes.
- Knowledge of supplier data governance, qualification, homologation, and compliance.
- Knowledge of integration between ERP systems and procurement platforms.
- Experience Knowledge in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Knowledge in incident management, system improvements, functional testing, and user support.
- Knowledge in process analysis and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Knowledge of project methodologies and demand management (Agile, Scrum, or similar).
Required Experience
- Experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management processes, or functional support for Procurement systems.
- Experience in administering, supporting, or using e-procurement platforms, preferably SAP Ariba.
- Experience in user support, process analysis, requirements gathering, functional testing, and implementation of system improvements.
Preferred
- Participation in implementation, expansion, or digital transformation projects for Procurement and Supplier Management processes.
- Experience in a multinational corporate environment and working with global teams.
