What it's like to be a Senior AI Engineer
The person will create solutions with generative AI and Machine Learning for conversational products with WhatsApp and Twilio, including direct participation in prompt engineering, software engineering, data analysis, and model creation.
We work in an agile model with a constant search for results through experiments and short validation cycles. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys and is good at working in a dynamic, metrics-driven environment with excellent software engineering practices.
What we expect from you
- Have extensive experience in Python, designing and experimenting with ML models;
- Conduct consistent and clear quantitative analyses, from problem approach to results presentation;
- Document and communicate data-driven insights to colleagues from different backgrounds;
- Participate in rapid interaction cycles related to model training/tuning, testing, and deployment;
- Know the basics of LLMs and prompt engineering;
- Know NLP, information retrieval, and optimization techniques;
- Would like to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to define, design, implement, and evolve machine learning models and pipelines;
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Florianópolis/SC
What increases your chances
- Have experience using generative AI integrated into production systems;
- Are accustomed to and use excellent software engineering practices;
- Know CI/CD deployment routines;
- Know the basics of AWS, GCP, or Azure clouds;
- Experience in building APIs involving database communication;
- Experience with MLOps tools like Databricks, Snowflake, or Sagemaker
