In this role you will
- Administer and support Windows Server environments (2008 or later).
- Respond to and resolve incidents related to Microsoft infrastructure.
- Investigate critical incidents, identifying the root cause and proposing definitive solutions.
- Prepare technical reports and incident documentation when necessary.
- Participate in technical meetings for analysis and definition of improvements.
- Administer virtualized environments using VMware ESXi.
- Work with Microsoft System Center and VMware vRealize Operations (vROps) tools.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation.
- Administer and provide support for Microsoft COM+ and IIS services.
- Work together with infrastructure teams in the implementation of improvements and maintenance of environment stability.
Minimum requirements
Ideally, if you have
- Completed Higher Education in Information Technology or related areas.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 or later.
- VMware ESXi 5.x or later.
- Microsoft System Center.
- VMware vRealize Operations (vROps).
- PowerShell.
- Microsoft IIS.
- Microsoft COM+.
- Windows server administration.
- Infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Root Cause Analysis.
- Analytical skills.
- Organization.
- Investigative profile.
- Proactivity.
- Good communication.
- Ease in problem-solving.
- Teamwork.
