In this role, you will perform
- Act in the support and administration of SAP environments;
- Perform preventive monitoring of SAP environments and their main components;
- Analyze and address alerts related to the availability, performance, and capacity of the environments;
- Handle incidents and requests of low and medium complexity;
- Perform initial analysis of technical problems and direct situations of greater complexity when necessary;
- Perform user administration activities, including blocking, unblocking, and password resets;
- Monitor SAP jobs, identify failures, and perform initial analyses;
- Monitor processes, work processes, dumps, locks, updates, and queues;
- Monitor interfaces and communications between environments;
- Support activities related to SAP transports;
- Perform basic administration and maintenance activities for SAP systems;
- Support the application of notes, patches, Support Packages, and other updates, under guidance when necessary;
- Support activities for environment refresh, copy, and maintenance;
- Properly record activities performed in tickets and ITSM tools;
- Act in compliance with defined SLAs and processes for service;
- Support the development and updating of technical procedures and environment documentation;
- Participate in root cause analyses and preventive actions for recurring incidents;
You need to have
- Completed degree in IT
Necessary knowledge
- Basic knowledge of SAP HANA;
- Knowledge of monitoring tools;
- Knowledge of Solution Manager or equivalent SAP monitoring tools;
- Experience with ITSM tools;
- Knowledge of ITIL;
- Experience in SAP AMS operations;
- Understanding of SAP environments in the cloud or RISE with SAP.
