Job Summary (List Format): -
- Responsible for procurement of IT-related goods and services, focusing on Software and SaaS. -
- Specializes in end-to-end software acquisitions, contract renewals, license optimization, and software vendor negotiations. -
- Evaluates IT vendors and contracts, including RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs. -
- Provides recommendations for supplier selections based on research and evaluation. -
- Supports business areas with evaluations of goods/services and negotiation guidance. -
- Manages procurement functions for a range of IT products and services, including software, hardware, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, and managed services. -
- Collaborates closely with IT, Legal, Finance, and InfoSec teams to ensure cost-efficiency, compliance, and effective SaaS operations. -
- Applies knowledge of IT products/services, procurement rules, and financial principles to procurement activities. -
- Works independently under general supervision, handling project-based procurement assignments of moderate difficulty. -
- Ensures procurement actions are in the best interest of the state and comply with statewide procurement regulations. -
Minimum requirements
- Minimum 3 years of IT software procurement experience required. -
- Position is hybrid (initial onsite training, then primarily remote), contract-to-hire, and located in Phoenix, AZ. No relocation or sponsorship provided.
