As an IT Support Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience with help desk operations, desktop support, networking, hardware, and business systems. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

  1. Be part of the help desk team by documenting requests, gathering details, assigning work orders, sharing updates, and helping users get timely solutions.
  1. Troubleshoot workstation, network, printer, ERP hardware, and software issues for employees across the organization.
  1. Help deploy hardware, install equipment, and set up workstations for users.
  1. Support the day-to-day performance, capacity, and stability of corporate and production systems.
  1. Respond to operational issues and help the team meet established service-level expectations.
  1. Build experience with Microsoft Windows administration, upgrades, patching, tuning, and troubleshooting on production workstations.
  1. Take part in planning and testing system and application upgrades.
  1. Collaborate with IT teammates, ask questions, share what you learn, and help escalate complex issues when needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  1. Ability to provide first-level service desk support to users of PCs, laptops, ERP hardware, and related software applications.
  1. Experience entering work orders in an IT services ticketing system and gathering the right details about users’ software and hardware issues.
  1. Technical knowledge of iOS and Android, including device updates, fixes, and general troubleshooting principles.
  1. Knowledge and technical ability to troubleshoot Windows environments, especially Windows 11.

YOU COULD BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU’RE

  1. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  1. Comfortable with personal computers, hardware, software setup, and basic troubleshooting.
  1. Familiar with Microsoft Windows workstations and servers, basic networking concepts, and network troubleshooting.
  1. Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
  1. A clear communicator who enjoys helping others and delivering a positive service experience.
  1. Organized, curious, and ready to use your problem-solving and project-management skills.
  1. Excited to collaborate with a team while also taking ownership of independent tasks.
