What we're planning together

Together, we are shaping the digital purchasing processes of one of Europe's leading retail companies. The Trade Organization & Processes department advises, accompanies, and supports central purchasing and category management in all aspects of organization and process design, and defines the functional requirements for the IT systems managed from this.

Master data for articles is a key success factor throughout the entire value chain.

As a Process Expert Master Data Management, you will shape the further development and harmonization of master data processes with a focus on integrating external data standards such as GDSN. Within a group-wide transformation program, you will actively drive the modernization of systems, processes, and data.

What you'll achieve with us

  1. You will strategically shape the use of GDSN and external data standards: Develop approaches for how external master data (e.g., via GDSN) can create real added value and integrate it into scalable processes and a future-proof data landscape.
  1. You will represent the company in international GS1 committees: With a clear focus on business benefits, you will contribute requirements, actively shape standards, and translate developments into concrete solutions early on.
  1. You will translate external requirements into implementable solutions: You will systematically, tangibly, and implementably transform regulations and data standards into clear, practical requirements for data models, processes, and systems.
  1. You will manage collaboration with external data partners: Ensure clear structures, efficient coordination, and stable, scalable data synchronization with data pools and partners.
  1. You will connect business needs with a consistent data target picture: Together with the business departments, you will get to the heart of requirements, prioritize them meaningfully, and develop a viable target picture for master data and its use.
  1. You will develop future-proof data models and processes: Bring structure to complexity, design modern solutions, and actively drive central initiatives in article master data management.
  1. You will increase data quality and efficiency: With a clear view of potential, you will strategically use automation and AI to simplify processes, increase quality, and enable scalability.

  1. You quickly recognize interrelationships and translate requirements into viable concepts, processes, and data models with a view to implementability and scalability.
  1. You have several years of practical experience in developing functional concepts, data models, or end-to-end processes, ideally in the context of master data or comparable data structures.
  1. You have practical experience with data standards, GDSN processes, or collaboration with external data partners and are able to translate these into concrete requirements.
