In this role, you will play a central part in developing and maintaining our 3DX™ Blade Platform. We value a hands-on approach, a "can-do" mentality, and the ability to work creatively and solve complex challenges. As a Senior Android Developer, you will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders to conceptualize and implement high-quality software.
Your Responsibilities – Full Speed Ahead!
- Conceptualization, development, and maintenance of Android applications for drone navigation and control
- Integration of the DJI Mobile SDK (as well as comparable SDKs) to ensure reliable flight and mission control
- Technical support for drone pilots during field operations
- Responsibility for developing a product from idea to market launch – including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Your Profile – Tailwinds to Your Dream Job
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Android development
- University degree in engineering or a comparable field
- Hands-on experience with the DJI Mobile SDK or similar control SDKs in the field of robotics
- Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering production-ready software
- Solid understanding of geodata, spatial thinking, and working with spatial data
- Willingness to provide technical support to drone pilots in the field at the 3rd-level support
- Willingness to regularly work at the Oetwil am See (Switzerland) location in addition to the main place of work in Vörstetten.
- Experience with C#/ .NET is advantageous
