About the opportunity

Get our digital system landscape moving and shape the future of PROPAIN as an IT Project Manager Business Central (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the strategic further development of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central cloud environment and work with our teams to design efficient digital processes.

You act as the central interface to our external Business Central service provider, coordinate requirements, manage technical implementations, and keep an eye on timelines and quality standards.

You analyze requirements from areas such as production, logistics, and finance and translate them into functional solutions and clear specifications.

You evaluate which requirements can be covered by the standard and where individual customizations make sense.

You support the integration of adjacent business applications such as Power Platform or webshop connections and continuously develop our system landscape.

You coordinate tests, release changes, and feature approvals and ensure structured documentation.

You work closely with internal departments as well as external partners and actively contribute new ideas for optimizing our digital processes.

Your Profile

This position is not remote.

You have completed a degree in business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification with sound IT experience.

You bring in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (SaaS/Cloud) and understand the requirements of modern cloud system landscapes.

You have experience in managing external service providers and formulating technical requirements precisely.

You feel at home in project management and maintain an overview even with complex interfaces and multiple stakeholders.

You work analytically, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and communicate clearly, pragmatically, and at eye level.

You are eager to actively drive digitalization in a dynamic environment and improve things sustainably.

You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.

Ideally, you are just as enthusiastic about bikes and innovation as we are – this is not a must.

Why Us?

A team that sticks together: We have a first-name culture – open, warm, and at eye level. We spend a good time together not only in the office but also on the trails of this world.

A company with drive: Propain is growing rapidly – with clear visions, shared values, and flat hierarchies where every opinion counts.

Bikes that inspire: We develop mountain bikes that are among the best in the world – and we give our all every day to make them even better.

Strong benefits for you: Whether EGYM Wellpass or subsidies for company pension schemes – your health is well protected with us.

Knowledge that moves you forward: Diverse further training opportunities help you grow professionally and personally.

Work where bike passion is palpable: Our modern office and workshop are not just functional; they reflect our enthusiasm for bikes.

More than just meetings: Whether for a coffee in the best employee café in the world or at the next team event – we live real team spirit.

Your own Propain bike: Thanks to bike leasing, you can get your very own personal Propain bike for home – at the best conditions.

This Is Important to Us

Not a 100 % match? No problem.

Do you not see yourself in all the requirements? Not an exclusion criterion at all.

It is more important to us that you are eager to take on responsibility, learn new things, and move things forward together with us.

We believe in diverse perspectives, different backgrounds, and genuine motivation. Regardless of whether you come from classic IT, are a career changer, or have taught yourself parts of the know-how – if you are passionate about ERP, systems, and clean processes, you should get in touch with us.

What counts for us

Curiosity instead of perfection

Willingness to learn instead of a gapless resume

Team spirit instead of lone wolves

So: Go for it. Even if you don't bring everything (yet) – we prefer to learn together than to wait for the "perfect profile."

About us

Mountain bikes are our passion. And we pass this passion on to our customers with our products. None of our bikes are the same, because the customer's wish is our priority. We grew up in gravity sports with our first bikes from the garage and have since made a name for ourselves in the mountain bike industry as an award-winning brand with multiple prize-winning bikes.

We are always looking for reinforcements for our team.
