About the opportunity
We are looking for an Agile Business Analyst to join a strategic digital transformation project within the financial sector.
In this role, you will be the primary partner to the Product Owner and the number one enabler for the development team. If you are passionate about translating complex business needs into technological solutions, have an agile DNA, and enjoy energizing the team without carrying the traditional "Scrum Master" label, this is the place for you.
Responsibilities
- Business Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact and communication between the Product Owner, business stakeholders, and the technical squad (developers, QA, architects).
- Product Design: Conduct requirements gathering, detail User Stories (US), define business rules, and establish clear, testable Acceptance Criteria (BDD).
- Agile Facilitator: Lead and assist in agile framework ceremonies (Dailies, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Retrospectives), ensuring value flow and removing operational blockers for the team.
- Technical Alignment: Work side-by-side with the engineering team to ensure a deep understanding of requirements and propose viable functional solutions.
Requirements
- Solid experience: More than 3 years of proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, Proxy PO, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar hybrid roles.
- Financial Background: Previous experience participating in projects within the financial sector (Banking, Fintech, Payment Methods, Core Banking, etc.). You are familiar with the regulations, processes, and terminology of the sector.
- Agile Proficiency: Deep understanding of the Agile Manifesto and practical experience facilitating ceremonies (previous background as a Scrum Master is a major plus).
- English (C1): Ability to lead meetings, negotiate with stakeholders, and draft technical/business documentation entirely in English.
- Soft Skills: You are a natural "translator" with high negotiation skills, empathy, resilience, and leadership through influence (not authority).
