In the Data Partner Network & Resources area, data is the foundation of how we plan, operate, and evolve our network and the technologies that support NOS services.
We work daily to transform technical and operational information into clear insights about performance, capacity, and service quality.
We are looking for a Data Engineer focused on building data products within a Data Mesh architecture, creating scalable pipelines, and defining information models and business KPIs that support technical and strategic decisions.
What we expect from you
- Develop, maintain, and evolve data products within a Data Mesh architecture, ensuring each network and technology domain is supported by solid information models;
- Integrate, transform, and make available data from different sources within the Network & Resources domain, ensuring consistency and reliability;
- Build and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines, aligned with Data Engineering and DataOps best practices;
- Develop and optimize data models, KPIs, and business metrics that support technical, operational, and strategic decisions;
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability, contributing to monitoring and continuous improvement processes;
- Monitor and provide operational support (8x5) for existing data products, proactively acting in identifying and resolving incidents;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (network, technology, business, IT) to understand needs and translate them into clear and actionable data solutions;
- Participate in the evolution of the data platform, promoting good development practices, automation, testing, versioning, and DataOps.
Who we are looking for
- Higher education degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or similar fields;
- Professional experience of approximately 2 or more years in Data Engineering, Cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform – GCP), and in data integration and transformation projects;
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, DTB, Cloud Storage, and other data services), Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, DTB, Git / GitHub, Terraform, Linux, and CI/CD tools;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Curiosity and enjoyment in solving complex problems;
- Sense of autonomy, proactivity, and orientation towards continuous improvement, with ease in learning new technologies and adapting to new challenges;
- Team spirit, good communication skills, and ease in collaborating with different areas of the Organization;
- Sense of responsibility, commitment, and focus on the quality of deliverables and results;
- Organizational skills and priority management, actively contributing to the evolution of the team's practices and solutions.
- Experience in Data Mesh, Data Governance, and modern data architectures will be valued;
- Know-how in Collibra, Kafka, and MongoDB is valued;
