Do you understand complex processes, bring structure to requirements, and develop concrete solutions from them? At New Monday, we are looking for two Business Analysts for a client project that addresses a central challenge of the energy transition: grid expansion and the integration of generation plants.

The project involves creating a grid connection system with three interconnected applications: a customer frontend, an installer frontend, and a caseworker solution. Together with the involved departments and development teams, you will shape the professional foundations to make end-to-end processes more efficient.

About New Monday

We are New Monday and we support companies in the development of digital products – from the initial idea through analysis and conceptualization to design and technical implementation. To do this, we bring together expertise in business analysis, UX/UI design, and software development.

As part of New Monday, you will contribute your expertise directly to our clients' projects. There, you will typically work as a member of the client team, collaborating closely with the respective departments, Product Owners, and development teams. You will make complex requirements understandable, challenge existing processes, and design solutions that help users and companies.

Your professional home remains New Monday: We support you during your project assignment, foster your professional development, and create space for professional exchange and personal encounters within the team.

Your Responsibilities

  1. You analyze and structure process requirements and develop functional and technical implementation concepts.
  1. You translate business needs into clear, implementation-ready specifications as a basis for technical realization.
  1. You familiarize yourself with complex system landscapes and their processes, identify optimization potential, and document concrete needs for action.
  1. You process defined test packages, conduct reviews, and analyze occurring errors. In doing so, you document and evaluate error patterns from a professional perspective.
  1. You develop solution options and recommendations for action and coordinate these with adjacent roles and departments.
  1. You keep an eye on the entire process across the three applications and help to continuously improve the value of the solution.

What You Bring

  1. Experience in business analysis or requirements engineering for complex IT projects.
  1. The ability to systematically record, challenge, and clearly document functional and process requirements.
  1. Technical understanding to analyze connections, dependencies, and interfaces within a system landscape.
  1. Experience in creating specifications and implementation concepts as well as in collaborating with departments and development teams.
  1. Experience with functional testing, reviews, and the analysis and evaluation of errors.
  1. A structured, independent way of working and a passion for developing viable solutions together.
  1. Fluent German and English skills.
  1. Willingness to attend occasional team meetings in Essen.
