The Role
Titles are a lossy compression of what people are actually great at. The people who move us furthest tend to have jagged, cross-disciplinary skill profiles that no standard req captures. Here, you get to define your own role.
The roles we’ve posted cover our known, near-term gaps. This one is for the people who don’t fit a box but can clearly see where they’d plug in and accelerate us. Use this application to make your case: name the role, draw its edges, and show us exactly how your background compounds what we’re building.
Minimum requirements
You might be a fit if you
- Have built, researched, or shipped at a genuinely high bar, whatever your domain.
- Do your best work before the map exists, and would rather take a fuzzy problem, scope it down, and own it end to end.
- Are pulled toward the seam where neuroscience, biology, and modern ML meet, whether your entry point is neural recording, signal processing, large-scale training, data infrastructure, or something we haven’t thought of.
- Are comfortable with large, messy, real-world data and the rigor it takes to trust results from it.
- Collaborate high-bandwidth and low-ego. We’re a small team of ML engineers, data engineers and researchers, and the strongest idea wins no matter whose it is.
- Are driven to build technology that expands what people can do.
