About the opportunity
We are looking for a senior professional to lead the evolution of an internal corporate digital platform, taking responsibility for priorities, user experience, value generation for business areas, and results achieved by implemented solutions.
We are not looking for someone solely focused on organizing backlogs. We seek a professional capable of deeply understanding the company's processes, identifying real internal user problems, prioritizing opportunities, and tracking whether the delivered solutions have effectively produced the expected results.
Responsibilities
- Translate the platform's vision and objectives into clear priorities for the squads.
- Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business impact, internal user experience, operational efficiency, risk, dependencies, and strategic objectives.
- Deeply understand the processes of the supported areas before transforming requests into functionalities.
- Investigate the root cause of problems, avoiding treating every received demand as a development requirement.
- Transform internal area needs into well-defined product problems.
- Build user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria clear enough to allow efficient execution by engineering teams.
- Define and communicate product objectives, hypotheses, expected outcomes, and success criteria for initiatives.
- Conduct continuous discovery in conjunction with Design/UX, Engineering, and business areas.
- Conduct interviews, observations, and other forms of investigation with internal users to understand behaviors, difficulties, needs, and improvement opportunities.
- Utilize usage data and analytics tools to understand behavior, adoption, utilization, and effectiveness of functionalities.
- Define success indicators before deliveries and track their results after implementation.
- Evaluate impacts such as reduction in manual effort, productivity gains, improved experience, error reduction, increased reliability, process simplification, and quality of decision-making.
- Develop and validate hypotheses through experiments and prototypes before committing significant development efforts.
- Interpret experiment results, even when the data is inconclusive or ambiguous.
- Align priorities and decisions with senior stakeholders, providing transparency on roadmap, decisions, and trade-offs.
- Critically evaluate new demands, protecting product focus and preventing isolated requests from replacing strategic priorities without justification.
- Work directly with Engineering and Design during initiative refinement, planning, and development.
- Ensure an integrated view of the platform's different fronts and modules, anticipating dependencies and impacts between company processes and areas.
- Monitor each initiative after its implementation to verify if the expected outcome was effectively achieved.
- Utilize internal user feedback, usage data, and operational indicators to guide the product's next evolution cycles.
Essential Requirements
- Proven senior experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role in digital products.
- Track record of responsibility for products or platforms effectively used in a production environment.
- Proficiency in Product Backlog management and prioritization.
- Experience in creating user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
- Proficiency in product metrics and practical experience with analytics tools.
- Experience conducting discovery and working directly with users, Design/UX, and Engineering.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and transform them into product opportunities.
- Knowledge and practical application of product tools and frameworks, such as PRD, Opportunity Solution Tree, HEART, and Product Vision.
- Experience in defining and analyzing hypotheses and experiments.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary squads.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and alignment skills with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to make prioritization decisions using evidence, strategic objectives, operational impact, and value for the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with corporate platforms or internal-use digital products.
- Experience with digital transformation of internal processes.
- Experience with products used by different areas, units, or user profiles within the same organization.
- Experience with products that use artificial intelligence as a core part of the experience.
- Experience in defining metrics for AI-assisted functionalities.
- Experience with complex operational processes.
- Sufficient technical knowledge to discuss APIs, integrations, data, and architectural constraints directly with engineering.

- Curiosity, active listening, and user-needs orientation;
- Business acumen and value generation orientation;
- Prioritization and decision-making ability;
- Communication, influence, and negotiation with different stakeholders;
- Systems thinking, collaboration, and adaptability
