Summary

The Process Engineer I will provide support in optimizing productivity and sustainability of battery production through high level of technical knowledge while ensuring stable mass production quality & PD improvement through recipe setting, spec aligning, process capability management, and high-quality defect improvement based on a technical understanding of the process and equipment

Responsibilities

  1. Analyze productivity, yield and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of assigned process and department
  2. Work with engineers and operators to troubleshoot machines to ensure highest yield and OEE
  3. Analyze Quality issues to provide corrective actions
  4. Improve production processes by creating various SOPs and train operators to ensure understanding and correct implementation to floor
  5. Compliance with health/safety/environmental/ fire regulations
  6. Spec. optimization and process conditions establishment
  7. PFD: process flow diagram, PFMEA: process failure mode and effects analysis, CP: control plan
  8. Chronic defect improvement activities
  9. Production/development model dissemination and 4M change verification
  10. Conduct internal and customer audits
  11. Non-conformance report handling and improvement
  12. Response to internal/external quality issues for the customer
  13. Establishment and revision of PFD, PF Manual
  14. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience
  2. Must be available to work weekend/night shifts based on team’s needs
  3. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

Experience

  1. 1-3+ years’ of experience in production technology related job preferred but not required
  2. Experience in working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  3. Previous experience working in Asian HQ global company

Skills

  1. Six Sigma knowledge
  2. MS Office Suite
  3. Written and verbal communication skills
  4. Strong attention to detail
  5. Organizational and multitasking skills
