About the opportunity

Leidos is hiring an IT Asset Administrator to support the ESA V program. The ESA V program provides IT services to several federal customers, including help desk, asset management, deskside support, Windows workstation engineering and maintenance, managed print services, ITSM, Active Directory services, and video conferencing, among others.

Leidos has an opportunity for an experienced IT professional to serve as part of the Asset Management team supporting our customer from our Downtown Washington, DC office. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT asset activities, maintaining accurate asset records, coordinating equipment deployments and replacements, and providing technical support for end-user computing devices. This position will also provide Tier 2 deskside support as needed, working collaboratively with other IT support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure continuity of customer operations.

ESA V prides itself on providing high-quality customer support. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical troubleshooting abilities, and a customer service-focused approach. This position requires an individual capable of working independently, prioritizing competing demands, resolving technical issues, and coordinating with other support teams to ensure customer needs are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

All work is tracked through an IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing system, which is used to monitor performance against established service level agreements and measure support effectiveness. Staff are responsible for maintaining accurate and timely ticket documentation, communicating status updates, and ensuring assigned work is completed in accordance with program requirements.

The technology environment includes Windows-based laptops and desktops, Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook, and other enterprise IT tools. Candidates should have demonstrated experience supporting Windows-based enterprise environments, managing IT assets, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
