Don't just want to write code, but want to technically influence an entire product setup? As a Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) at BBH Solutions AG, you will take on a crucial role in building an internal engineering team and actively shape the technological future of several legal tech products.
You will work hands-on across the entire stack – from Frontend to Backend – while simultaneously bringing structure and technical perspective to a growing environment. You are not just a developer, but also a technical sparring partner for our Product Owners and the point of contact for external development partners. Tasks
- Development and operation of sophisticated web applications across the entire stack (Frontend & Backend)
- Design and further development of APIs, databases, and interfaces
- Refactoring of existing applications to improve scalability and maintainability
- Participation in multiple products with different maturity levels – including the gradual further development of the contract generator towards a microservices architecture
- Close collaboration with business Product Owners: technical sparring and constructive questioning of requirements
- Technical coordination with external development partners – you contribute your professional input
- Contribution to architectural decisions and technical guidelines – together as a team
- Shaping development processes, testing, and code quality
Minimum requirements

- Several years of experience in fullstack development of web applications
- Confident, practical experience with JavaScript and Vue.js or comparable frameworks in the Frontend and Java / Spring Boot in the Backend
- Experience in the design and operation of REST-APIs as well as with relational databases (MySQL)
- Independent, solution-oriented way of working and enjoyment of close collaboration in a small team
- Willingness to think through requirements and question them constructively
- Fluent German (C2) for collaboration within the team and with German service providers
A Plus
- Experience with scalable software architectures (e.g., microservices) and a feel for technical trade-offs
- Experience in technical coordination and management of external service providers
- Practice in testing, code reviews, and CI/CD
- Experience with Nginx, Liquibase, Keycloak / OAuth2
- Interest in or experience with AI tools in engineering (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
- Domain experience in the legal tech or energy industry environment
- Influence in building an internal engineering function with real scope for design
- Work on multiple digital products instead of isolated feature development, as well as participation in internal hackathons
- Perspective to actively shape technological further development – including towards microservices
- Stability of an established corporate group combined with the dynamics of building a tech team
