Required Competencies
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Solid experience with Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Experience in the development and integration of APIs.
- Knowledge of Git and queue messaging systems, specifically Kafka or equivalent.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies.
- Ability to develop and maintain applications, identify best practices, and produce technical documentation.
- Experience in mentoring junior developers, task distribution, and tracking deliverables.
- Ability to collaborate with Product Owners and production support teams.
- Strong communication skills, autonomy, proactivity, analytical thinking, and team spirit.
Preferred Competencies
- Professional experience in the banking sector.
- Knowledge of document management, OCR, and GenAI.
- Experience with Cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools applied to software development.
Work Model: Hybrid — Lisbon (2 days on-site and 3 days remote per week).
Availability: Up to 30 days, preferably less.
Gross Monthly Salary: 1.400€–1.600€ per month.
