Job Description
The Senior Desktop Support Technician will provide technical support for Windows 11 systems, laptops, desktops, peripherals, and Microsoft 365 applications. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing laptop refreshes, managing software installations and configurations, and providing remote support using tools such as SCCM, Remote Desktop, and Dameware.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, driver, BIOS, and network-related issues.
- Perform software installations, configurations, system updates, and laptop refresh activities.
- Use SCCM/SMS, Remote Desktop, and Dameware for remote workstation management and support.
- Support Windows 11, MS Office, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Generate reports, analyze recurring technical issues, and identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Collect customer feedback to improve support processes and training methods.
- Deliver excellent customer service while collaborating with team members and learning new technologies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in desktop support and IT troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, drivers, BIOS, and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM/SMS, Remote Desktop, and Dameware.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a willingness to learn emerging technologies.
