About the role

We are looking for a QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our trading infrastructure.
You will test high-volume, low-latency systems that connect trading platforms, financial institutions, and internal services. In addition to verifying that everything works as expected, you will be responsible for investigating edge cases, testing failure scenarios, and ensuring data consistency across distributed systems.
You will work directly with the people responsible for product definition and the engineers who develop and operate these systems. The goal is to take ownership of quality in a small team where your decisions will have a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for REST, WebSocket, and FIX integrations.
- Validate trading flows, data consistency, idempotency, and failure recovery.
- Perform load and stress testing to identify performance bottlenecks and risks to system reliability.
- Investigate defects, identify their root causes, and collaborate with engineers to prevent the same issues from recurring.
- Take ownership of testing activities from requirement understanding and test planning to release validation.
- Proactively identify quality-related risks, challenge assumptions, and improve testing and automation processes.
Requirements
- Advanced or fluent English.
- Experience in QA engineering, including test planning, execution, and automation.
- Knowledge of APIs, integration testing, and distributed systems.
- Analytical and critical mindset, with the initiative to identify risks and edge cases.
- Sense of ownership and ability to conduct testing activities independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering, product, and operations teams.
- Familiarity with performance testing, CI/CD, and databases such as PostgreSQL is a plus.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge or previous experience with financial trading, especially in spot and/or derivatives markets.
