About the Department
We are looking for a dedicated working student (f/m/d) for Embedded Systems and Multi-Core in Aviation at the Fürstenfeldbruck location.
We develop innovative solution approaches for a wide variety of problems – from conceptual studies to prototype software. Our work includes the development of AI models and AI applications, embedded hardware and software prototypes, certification support for multi-core systems in aviation, as well as the conception and testing of secure and trustworthy AI applications in close coordination with internal and external partners.

Your Responsibilities
- Contribution to the design of the architecture for a modular stress test toolkit
- Support in the development of tools for systematic testing of hardware limits in processors
- Accompanying the entire development process from conception and prototype development to validation
- Assistance in creating analyses and documentation within the scope of the project
Your Profile
- Enrolled student (f/m/d) in Computer Engineering or a comparable degree program with a completed Bachelor's degree
- Experience in C and Python programming
- Knowledge of assembler programming, preferably ARM Cortex-A53
- Experience with debuggers for embedded systems (ideally Lauterbach debugger)
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken

- Knowledge of programming FPGAs (e.g., VHDL, synthesis and simulation tools) as well as basic knowledge of real-time operating systems are a plus
