About the opportunity

We are looking for a Service Desk professional with experience in support and customer service, a positive service attitude, and advanced English proficiency.

Main responsibilities: ·

Provide information and communication technology services related to infrastructure, networks, software, computer applications, and devices to facilitate client tasks and functions, as well as manage, transform, and maintain the technological components that allow for the creation, modification, storage, protection, and recovery of information. ·

Provide specialized technical support for internal and external users, resolving complex issues that cannot be solved by lower support levels. ·

Perform detailed analysis of incidents and problems, investigating the root cause and proposing effective solutions. ·

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve complex issues involving multiple systems and components. ·

Provide assistance remotely or online. ·

Access, control, manage, supervise, and repair devices remotely, including laptops, using connectivity platforms. ·

Apply cloud-based technologies for collaboration and online remote support. ·

Configure and maintain operating systems, servers, databases, and other IT infrastructure components. ·

Manage and resolve network-related issues, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Internet connections. ·

Configure and monitor system diagnostic and monitoring tools to ensure adequate performance and availability. ·

Manage critical incidents and act as an escalation point for complex and urgent issues. ·

Develop and implement technical support processes and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service quality. ·

Provide guidance and training to the lower-level technical support team, sharing technical knowledge and best practices. ·

Participate in projects for the implementation of new technologies, system migrations, and infrastructure upgrades. ·

Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in technical support and technology, acquiring new skills and relevant certifications.

A. Responsibilities: ·

Provide a high level of service to the client. ·

Provide phone and on-site support to end users across the site. ·

Use the ServiceNow ticket tracking system to categorize, prioritize, and escalate issues as needed. ·

Take ownership of the problem/request until its resolution or escalation. ·

Analyze hardware and software issues, perform troubleshooting according to approved procedures, identify workarounds, and take appropriate corrective actions. ·

Perform configuration, installation, and testing of hardware and software according to current standards and approved procedures. Assist in creating and maintaining system support documentation. ·

Take the utmost care in the safekeeping and preservation of equipment, materials, and tools received from the company or provided by the client for the performance of their activities. ·

Protect confidential data and information of both the company and the clients. ·

Adhere to the data protection and safeguarding policies and mechanisms used in the performance of their activities, as well as restrictions on their use and storage. ·

Monitor and protect devices against viruses, attacks, and ransomware. ·

Refrain from visiting websites that do not correspond to their work duties. ·

Attend to and use the mechanisms and operating systems for the supervision of their activities.

Other Requirements

Location: Remote.

Experience: 2 to 5 years

Compensation: MXN 19.000,00 to MXN 22.000,00 Gross (Based on experience)

English: Advanced (Required, tests will be conducted)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 am to 18 hours.
