About the client

What you'll do
- Plan, develop, and execute technical support activities for users and database infrastructure maintenance services, both remotely and on-site.
- Provide guidance and support to users by logging, analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving database-related requests.
- Troubleshoot database issues and support migrations, service implementations, and technology transfers.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure database reliability and performance.
- Monitor database performance, capacity, and availability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Administer and configure database management systems, adhering to best security practices.
- Ensure compliance with SLA requirements related to response times, escalations, and downtime communications.
- Maintain and update technical documentation to ensure long-term database sustainability and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to ensure seamless database operations.
What you bring
- Experience in database support and administration in Production, Test, and Development environments.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SQL Server (Mandatory)
- Oracle (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of database administration fundamentals, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Experience in administering backup and storage solutions.
- Knowledge of database security concepts, backup and recovery processes, and performance monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic support environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong customer service mindset.
English Level Intermediate
Nice to have.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, PowerShell, or Unix scripts.
- SQL Server and/or Oracle certifications
- English and/or Spanish language skills
- Experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise environments.
Location: Hybrid (São Paulo, Brazil)
Work schedule: Night shift (22h00 – 10h00)
