Mid-Level Network Manager | Payment Terminals
Main tasks to develop
- Provide specialized technical support for POS/xPOS payment terminals via phone and email, using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve operational issues;
- Analyze messages exchanged between terminals and payment systems, identifying inconsistencies or errors against functional specifications;
- Manage the incident and failure lifecycle, from identification and diagnosis to resolution and closure, in coordination with suppliers and clients;
- Monitor the availability and operation of POS/xPOS and MULTIBANCO terminal networks, both nationally and internationally;
- Manage terminal activation requests and security key generation for POS, in accordance with defined procedures and service levels.
Required skills and knowledge
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office from a user perspective;
- Good oral and written communication skills in English;
- Ability to organize, plan, and manage priorities;
- Autonomy, proactivity, team spirit, and customer orientation;
- Analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fields;
- Knowledge of SQL;
- Experience or technical knowledge in POS terminals and payment systems;
- Interest in continuous improvement and optimization of operational processes.
Work arrangement: Hybrid (3x per week at the office in Lisbon).
