Cloud Engineer – Mid/Senior

Main tasks to develop

  1. Administer and maintain cloud infrastructures in Azure and AWS;
  1. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code;
  1. Configure and manage cloud networking and security, including VNet/VPC, VPN, firewalls, NSGs, IAM, and RBAC;
  1. Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents in cloud environments, using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and CloudWatch;
  1. Implement backup, Disaster Recovery, and high availability solutions;
  1. Collaborate with development teams on the implementation and evolution of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices;
  1. Ensure compliance with security standards and good governance practices;
  1. Document processes, architectures, and operational procedures.

Mandatory skills and technical knowledge

  1. Hands-on experience in Cloud Administration;
  1. Solid knowledge of cloud, networking, security, storage, compute, and monitoring;
  1. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform;
  1. Troubleshooting ability in complex environments, including network, applications, and performance;
  1. Familiarity with DevOps / CI/CD, using tools like GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent;
  1. Experience in cloud cost management and optimization, including right-sizing, autoscaling, and reserved instances;
  1. Experience in multi-cloud and hybrid environments, combining on-premises and cloud;
  1. Good documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Location: Lisbon
