Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced SDET with a solid background in test automation and technical expertise in Python and SQL, to join the quality team of an international entertainment company.

The professional will be responsible for defining automation strategies, creating and executing test cases, and ensuring the quality and stability of solutions in cloud data and application environments.

Availability to work within the US time zone and good communication in English (level B2 or higher) are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define, document, and maintain the team/project's test automation strategy.
  1. Analyze project documents and technical requirements for test case development.
  1. Create and maintain automated and manual test cases.
  1. Implement and optimize automation scripts (Python, Selenium).
  1. Execute automation suites and validate results.
  1. Manage defect cycles: opening, tracking, and revalidation.
  1. Prepare and communicate progress reports, metrics, and final test results.
  1. Actively participate in meetings with cross-functional teams, aligning on quality, schedule, and deliverables.

Mandatory Requirements

  1. +5 years of proven experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
  1. Python (Advanced) automation, test integration, and data manipulation.
  1. SQL (Expert) writing complex queries, joins, views, and data validation.
  1. Test Strategies (Advanced) planning, coverage, and types of tests (functional, integration, regression, performance).
  1. Selenium (Intermediate) UI test automation and integration with Python frameworks (PyTest, Behave, etc.).
  1. Cloud Environments (Intermediate) knowledge in test execution and integration in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  1. Availability to work within the US time zone.
  1. English B2 verbal and written communication in an international environment.

Differentiators (Desirable)

  1. Experience with Snowflake, Airflow, or Spark.
  1. Experience with Data Pipelines (ETL, data integration testing).
  1. Experience in AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, Glue, etc.).
  1. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  1. Experience in the entertainment or digital media sector.
