Who are we looking for?
Application Support 2nd/3rd Line (Mid-level)
MAIN TASKS
- Understand procedures and participate in the task automation process.
- Management, monitoring, and control of service levels.
- Problem identification and implementation of monitoring solutions for service control.
- Communication with Technical/Functional teams.
- Creation and updating of documentation and support materials for services.
- Analysis, documentation, and improvement of internal processes and tools.
- Analysis and resolution of incidents and problems.
- 24/7 Application Support, with on-call duty.
- Development of tools and processes within the scope of service management.
MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Strong functional analysis component.
- Use of Unix/Linux operating systems and environments.
- Experience using Grafana, including creating dashboards and alerting.
- Scripting languages (e.g., KSH/Bash; Python; Perl).
- SQL/MYSQL.
- Knowledge of Ethernet networks (TCP/IP).
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
DESIRABLE TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Higher education degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field.
- 2 or more years of experience in operations or application support.
- Knowledge of ITIL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Basic knowledge of regular expressions.
- Experience in process automation.
- Knowledge of Ansible applied to task and configuration automation.
- ELK Stack, Grafana, LogStash.
- Creation of Ansible playbooks.
- GITLAB.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Hybrid (3x per week at the office in Lisbon).
