YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Software Portfolio Manager, you will be the entrepreneurial driving force behind our next-generation software business. This role offers you the stage to bring your expertise in developing and marketing scalable, platform-based solutions – this time at the heart of a globally connected industry leader.
You will have the unique opportunity to:
- Be responsible for the strategic further development of a diverse, high-impact software portfolio and steer it from the idea phase to market leadership.
- Build and scale new business models with the potential to fundamentally change the way the currency industry operates – both within and outside of cash centers and security printing environments.
- Champion a clear vision that unites a large matrix organization, inspires cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and drives sustainable change at scale.
- Take full ownership of the business case – from identifying unmet customer needs and defining compelling value propositions to piloting solutions and ensuring commercial success.
- Deliver end-to-end results by managing customer-driven development projects, ensuring product-market fit, and successfully transferring innovations into the broader organization.
- Shape go-to-market strategies and build strategic partnerships, leveraging your network and business acumen to maximize impact and speed to market.
YOUR PROFILE
- You are an experienced software business developer with a passion for building and scaling platform-based models – ideally in payments, critical infrastructure, or banking.
- You are comfortable in complex, global environments and possess the proven ability to influence, inspire, and align large, cross-functional teams, even without direct disciplinary responsibility.
- Your entrepreneurial mindset is complemented by strategic rigor: you excel at creating business cases, financial analyses, and project management to deliver results on time and within budget.
- You are adept at identifying market opportunities, building customer relationships, and navigating ambiguity to realize innovative, high-value solutions.
- You are a compelling communicator – in English and at least one other language – capable of engaging stakeholders from top management to the operational level.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- More than 10 years of experience in software portfolio, product, or project management for standalone solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of modern software development processes and architectures.
- Proven track record in building new business models, pricing, and market strategy.
- Experience in managing external partners and subcontractors.
