What we are looking for
We are looking for a specialist in data architecture and engineering to lead the definition and evolution of corporate analytical platforms in Microsoft Fabric and Azure. The professional will be responsible for directing strategic decisions on architecture, governance, security, and artificial intelligence applied to data, acting as a technical reference for multidisciplinary teams and large-scale modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the corporate data architecture using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, OneLake, Lakehouse, and medallion layer architecture (bronze, silver, and gold);
- Be responsible, together with the client, for defining the roadmap of data platform initiatives;
- Direct strategic technical decisions related to the Azure analytical platform, data modeling, Microsoft Fabric capabilities, and integration with Power BI in Direct Lake mode;
- Define data engineering standards, CI/CD, partitioning, Observability, and governance for the Squad;
- Establish data governance and security strategies using Microsoft Purview, Azure Key Vault, and RBAC-based access control;
- Define the analytical consumption and Business Intelligence layer through multidimensional modeling, semantic models, and self-service Analytics practices
- Technically lead the evolution of the data platform, acting as the main reference for the discipline with business areas and corporate architecture;
- Define AI-Centric strategies for the platform, including NL2SQL, Copilot in Microsoft Fabric, semantic catalog, vectorization, and AI-supported Observability;
- Conduct modernization initiatives for legacy pipelines using AI agents for reverse engineering and assisted migration;
- Mentor data professionals, promoting the dissemination of technical knowledge and the team's maturity evolution;
- Influence corporate forums for security, infrastructure, and business in defining large-scale data architectures.
Mandatory Requirements
- Completed higher education in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
- Solid experience in the data field with previous hands-on experience as a Data Engineer;
- Consolidated experience in architectural definition and technical leadership of medium and large-scale data platforms;
- Mastery of Lakehouse architecture, including bronze, silver, and gold layers;
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling and transactional formats such as Delta and Parquet;
- Mastery of multidimensional modeling, including star schema, Snowflake, facts, and dimensions;
- Solid experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, and Spark Notebooks;
- Experience with the Azure ecosystem for data, including ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics;
- Mastery of Python, PySpark, and advanced SQL applied to data engineering;
- Practical experience in data governance, security, and Observability using Microsoft Purview, Azure Key Vault, and RBAC;
- Proven track record of mentoring and technical evolution of data teams;
- Knowledge in artificial intelligence strategies applied to the data platform, including intelligent agents, NL2SQL, corporate RAG, and semantic catalog;
- Excellent technical communication and ability to influence decisions in complex corporate environments.
Differentiating Requirements
- Advanced Azure certifications, such as DP-700, DP-203 or AZ-305;
- Experience in large-scale modernization programs and migration of On-premises environments to the cloud;
- Experience in AI-Centric initiatives in production, including corporate RAG, agentic decisioning, and NL2SQL;
- Knowledge in AI-based engineering accelerators, such as Wynxx, AI.DA Brasil, or equivalent tools;
- Experience in regulated environments compliant with LGPD, BACEN, and SOX requirements;
- Fluent English for global context.
