We are looking for a professional who will:
- Inventory legacy databases.
- Administer on-premises and cloud databases.
- Perform database performance tuning (indexes and queries).
- Perform disaster recovery tasks (backup and restore) for databases.
- Support the development team to achieve higher quality in the development of internal applications on the MS SQL Server database platform, and in the migration of legacy applications from the MySQL Server platform.
- Develop MS SQL Server database performance indicators, computed automatically through scripts.
- Monitor disaster recovery exercises for remote sites.
- Administer databases for supervisory applications (SCADA) on an industrial automation platform.
- Identify and track market demands regarding systems and applications, aiming to keep the company updated in relation to the market.
- Develop technical standards for use in application development.
What are the essential requirements for this position?
- Bachelor's degree in Database Administration or related fields.

- Experience in database administration, backup/restore, and tuning.
