To succeed, you must understand Shopify deeply, not just surface-level theme editing.

  1. Strong Shopify Liquid knowledge
  1. Deep understanding of Shopify theme architecture
  1. Solid HTML, CSS, JS
  1. Experience replicating Figma designs accurately
  1. Familiarity with GitHub
  1. Strong debugging skills
  1. Understanding of performance and SEO basics

Not a fit if you…

  1. Avoid solving problems independently
  1. Ship sloppy code
  1. Break things during simple updates
  1. Move slowly without urgency

You will

  1. Build full Shopify redesigns from scratch
  1. Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect Shopify themes
  1. Customize themes cleanly using Liquid and JSON templates
  1. Develop CRO-related test variants
  1. Implement performance best practices
  1. Optimize for speed and technical SEO fundamentals
  1. Collaborate with Designers, PMs, CRO specialists, and QA
  1. Debug efficiently using DevTools
  1. Use AI tools to improve speed and productivity
  1. Agency or multi-client experience preferred
  • Fully remote

Details

Type: Full-time

Trial: 3 months

Reports to: Head of PM & Development

Compensation: $1,300–$1,500/month, based on experience and performance.
