You will be the technical reference for industrial monitoring solutions using IoT sensors, ensuring our clients obtain reliable data to anticipate failures in their rotating assets. From installation and commissioning to vibration analysis and continuous improvement, your work will make predictive maintenance a reality in our clients' operations.
What You Will Do
- Monitor the operation of sensors, gateways, and IoT devices for active clients, identifying communication failures, abnormal readings, or interruptions in data capture.
- Verify the operation of vibration monitoring solutions on electric motors, pumps, fans, and other rotating equipment.
- Perform adjustments, verifications, and technical maintenance of implemented solutions, and follow up on incidents related to sensors, mounting, connectivity, and measurement availability.
- Analyze trends and variables such as RMS velocity, acceleration, temperature, and FFT spectra to detect deviations in asset condition.
- Collaborate in the definition and validation of alarm thresholds and monitoring criteria.
- Design vibration monitoring solutions for motors: sensor location and installation, recommended configurations, and project tracking until delivery.
- Provide technical support to IoT Customer Solution Engineers and perform initial diagnosis of anomalies, distinguishing between installation, communication, or measurement issues and those requiring specialized mechanical analysis.
- Document recurring incidents, findings, and solutions to strengthen the department's knowledge base.
- Use artificial intelligence for predictive monitoring and early anomaly detection.
- Contribute to the global standard of Fracttal, collaborating with teams from other regions and providing best practices for the standardization of predictive solutions.
What We Are Looking For
- Professional or technical degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial IoT solutions, predictive maintenance, or advanced technical support.
- Practical experience with vibration sensors, wireless sensors, and condition monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical vibrations and trend analysis (RMS velocity, acceleration, temperature, and FFT).
- Experience in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of industrial sensors.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, electronics, and industrial protocols, preferably Modbus RTU/TCP and RS-485.
- Familiarity with IoT monitoring platforms, data acquisition, and alarm configuration.
- Experience in technical reporting, incident documentation, and work order tracking.
- Availability to perform technical visits to industrial facilities and participate in commissioning.
It is a plus if you have
- Knowledge of industrial electricity, single-phase and three-phase systems, and measurement of electrical variables.
- Experience with power quality analyzers and energy meters.
- Knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT and OPC-UA.
