This position transforms technical and operational needs into scalable solutions that enhance visibility, availability, and performance of hybrid platforms. It works collaboratively with infrastructure, application, operations, and architecture teams to implement observability capabilities from scratch and stabilize them with operational excellence. We are looking for a person with a technical vision, a consultative approach, and the ability to lead complex initiatives in a dynamic FinTech environment.

What you will do

  1. Design reference architectures, instrumentation standards, and models for events, metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
  1. Lead the end-to-end implementation of observability capabilities, including integrations, automations, technical governance, and transition to operations.
  1. Define operational and technical indicators, alert criteria, SLI/SLO, and mechanisms to reduce noise and anticipate failures.
  1. Create executive and operational dashboards to track health, availability, capacity, performance, and trends.
  1. Integrate observability into incident, problem, and change management processes to strengthen root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  1. Collaborate with mainframe, cloud, network, security, SRE, architecture, and operations teams to ensure aligned and sustainable execution.
  1. Document standards, runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.

Minimum requirements

What you need

  1. Experience in observability, infrastructure monitoring, APM, log analysis, and event management in critical environments.
  1. Experience in designing and implementing dashboards, actionable alerts, metrics, logs, traces, SLI/SLO, and health checks.
  1. Experience with hybrid platforms involving mainframe and cloud, including z/OS, JCL, batch processing, operational events, subsystem monitoring, and distributed services.
  1. Experience in automation with Python, integration via REST APIs/HTTPS, technical troubleshooting, and operating services on Linux and/or Windows Server. Knowledge of authentication, certificates, proxy, DNS, and corporate connectivity.
  1. Experience integrating with ITSM platforms (preferably ServiceNow), relational databases, SQL, and operational support practices in high-availability environments.
  1. Advanced English, oral and written.

Desirable qualifications

  1. Experience implementing observability practices from scratch, covering design, integration, go-live, and stabilization.
  1. Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, data retention, auditing, and processing of operational data.
  1. Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent platforms for incident, event, and automation integration.
  1. Experience in regulated environments, 24/7 operations, and support models with high availability requirements.
  1. Experience with frameworks and certifications related to Cloud, SRE, ITIL, Observability, or Mainframe technologies.
  1. Experience applying techniques for alert fatigue reduction, anomaly detection, threshold definition, and proactive monitoring.
